28th March, 2020 at 2:00 PM

Bexhill Museum, Egerton Road, Bexhill, TN40 2BE

Course postponed until later this year. Please check the website or social media for rescheduled dates after May 1. The ever-popular Ken Brooks will be running another of his afternoon courses on Saturday 28th March. Advance booking is advised. Ken will be exploring the lasting legacy of the Ancient Egyptians’ pursuit of immortality. It preserved a wonderful record of the daily lives and religious beliefs of this extraordinary people. While statues of gods and pharaohs appear static and aloof, Egyptian tombs often reveal paintings of hard-working, lively and family loving folk. Reference will also be made to Bexhill Museum’s collection of artefacts from El Amarna, a capital city built by the Pharaoh Akhenaten.
