HILSON, Percy Henry

Very little is known about Mr Percy Henry Hilson other than that given in local directories – if anyone has any information on this man, the Museum would love to know.

In 1910, the “Bexhill Directory, Year Book & Almanack” has him living at 85, Reginald Road – there is no mention of photography.

In 1912, “Pike’s Hastings, St Leonards & Bexhill Blue Book & Local Directory” he is recorded as living at 63, Station Road, as a photographer – which is how he is recorded, in 1913, in the “Bexhill Directory and Yearbook”.

He does not appear to have occupied any studio and no examples of his work has been found – it’s just that he is recorded as being a “photographer” in local directories.
