The following is a listing the photographers who, at some time in the past, had studios in Bexhill. The information has been taken from the “Sussex PhotoHistory” website (http://www.photohistory-sussex.co.uk). The owner, David Simkin, has given the Bexhill Museum permission to use whatever images and text that it chooses to use from his website and requests that due credit be given to him and his website.
We are very pleased to do that as the above website is a major piece of historical work. It must have involved a great deal of time in research alone as it covers towns in both West and East Sussex and we are very grateful to David for his permission to use what we want.
