The firm of Bridgman & Robbins set up a studio at 2 Marina Arcade, Bexhill, around 1907 , which was in business up until 1911, what happened after that year is unknown. The studio had, previously, been occupied by the photographer William J. Reed.
One of the partners in the firm is definitely known to have been Thomas Henry Robbins, born in 1867, in Devizes, Wiltshire. It is believed that the other was, probably, the photographer John Robert Bridgman (1856-1924).
In 1892, Thomas Henry Robbins married Blanche Brend, who had been born in 1865, in Bideford, Devon).
Unfortunately, very little is known of Bridgman.
