Bexhill Museum is delighted to congratulate our Ambassador, Suzy Eddie Izzard, who has been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the organisation behind the Oscars.
Suzy is one of 529 film artists and professionals invited to join the Academy’s 2026 membership class, in recognition of their contribution to the global film industry. She has been invited in the Actors category, with the Academy highlighting her roles in Victoria & Abdul and Ocean’s Twelve.
Her screen career also includes appearances in major international films such as Ocean’s Thirteen, Valkyrie, Across the Universe, Mystery Men and Six Minutes to Midnight, which she also co-wrote.
