Bexhill in 1926 – A week in the life of our town 100 years ago

The museum talks season gets underway in October with two lectures.
The first one is Bexhill 1926, presented by museum volunteer David Hatherell.
He looks at what was happening in the town exactly one hundred years ago, the news culled from the pages of the Bexhill Observer. He covers entertainment, people, sport, shopping, accidents and other events of that week.
The talk is on Wednesday 7 October at St Augustine’s Church Hall, starting at 2.30pm. Places do not need to be booked – just turn up at the venue.
There is a charge of £5 (£4 for museum members). Tea and coffee will available. We will be unable to take payment by card at this event. Our apologies.
