Five local charities won funding from the People’s Postcode Lottery’s in its monthly Millionaire Street promotion last month, including Bexhill Museum, which has benefitted from a £30,000 donation.
The deserved big winner was Bexhill’s Warming Up The Homeless group which received £60,000 in funding. Three more local charities got £30,000 gifts as well: The Pelham community hub in Sidley, Churches Together (Bexhill Foodbank), and Bexhill Caring Community which supports housebound pensioners.
Local charities are picked from the neighbourhood of the winning postcode. October’s was TN40 1LY. The money was split five ways between five ticket holders living at that postcode address. Full details on the People’s Postcode Lottery’s website
