Spouse:  Harry married Eliza Mary Bird (1882-1952) in the Battle RD in July 1902. They had four children – all born in Bexhill – Joseph Herbert Murrell (1903- ); Marjorie Evelyn Murrell (1905-1982); Doris Mary Murrell (1908- ); Henry Murrell (1910- ).

Harry and Eliza Mary lived at Ebor House between 1911 and 1917.

First World War Experience

Although Harry’s service records have not survived we do know that he enlisted on 23rd December 1914 and served in France – Theatre of War 1.

He received three medals – the Victory Medal, the British War Medal, and the 15 Star.
