First World War Experience
The only reference that can be found regarding Robert’s army service is an article in the Bexhill Observer dated 18th December 1915 saying that he had been attested and placed on the Army Reserve groups. There are Robert Jamieson’s (and Jameson’s) in the Medal Roll Index Cards but nothing that confirms that they are this particular Robert.
