First World War Experience

The only reference that can be found definitely about William, apart from his Medal Rolls, is a notice in the Bexhill Observer dated 24^th August 1918 saying that he was a Prisoner of War

He was awarded the Victory Medal and the British War Medal and on his Medal Rolls document it stated that he enlisted on 8^th December 1915 and was discharged on 23^rd March 1919.
