First World War Experience

Gray was a Boy entrant. He signed up for 8 years’ service. However, within weeks of joining at RAF Halton [School of Technical Training] he developed influenza and died.

Additional Information

He was the son of the Bexhill Mayor.

He was educated at Boscobel School, Bexhill. He was artistic and an animal lover.  Assisted Rev J C Thompson in sorting and cataloguing Museum exhibits.
