Family Information

Parents:          Alfred and Frances Elizabeth Featherstone who lived in Endwell Road in 1915.

Siblings:         Ruth Mabel and Mildred Emily.

Fredrick married Edith Emma Potter in 1906 in the Battle area and they had four children – Fredrick Charles (1906-1951), Reginald Edwin (1908-1973), Bessie F. J. (1914-1925), and Barbara M. (1921-1921).

First World War Experience

Unfortunately, we know almost nothing about Fredrick’s war service except that he enlisted on 22nd July 1915 and fought France.  He was awarded the Victory Medal, the British War Medal, and the 15 Star.
