To all mothers happy Matronalia - this #Roman festival on 1st March was for Juno Lucina, the goddess of childbirth & of motherhood. Women were allowed to wear their hair loose & mothers received gifts from their husbands & daughters - It was a Roman version of #MothersDay

Lockdown is a good time to have a clear out, but with everyone doing the same, our recycling sites are filling up fast. We empty the containers regularly but if they are full, don’t leave your waste. Please drive to one of our large household waste recycling sites. Thank you

Happy #StDavidsDay / #DyddGwylDewiHapus!

We thought this was a great time to share this wonderful pin, or stylus, carved to represent a stylized dragon! (AD 866 - 1066) 🐉 From the jaws of the dragon protrudes a short rectangular tongue!
