Stepping Out to The De La Warr Estate

Join us on a guided walk through the former estate of the 8th Earl De La Warr, situated east of Sea Road and south of the railway line. Local historian Alex Markwick will trace the estate from its beginnings in 1882 to the present day, explore its forgotten architectural features, early plans, and evolving societal roles. Meet outside the Sailing Club, East Parade
The guided walk costs £5.00 for adults and £2.00 for accompanied children. We regret that no dogs are allowed on these walks. The walk leaders are Museum volunteers and all proceeds go to Bexhill Museum.
