Charlie Chaplin in The Kid – silent classic with live music
6 August @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Buster’s back: The museum is hosting another silent film showing presented by the newly formed Bexhill Film Club, with club organiser Mike Hatchard at the piano again. Showing Wednesday 6 August at 7pm. This time Charlie Chaplin stars.
Chaplin’s The Kid (1921) is a silent comedy classic with a heart. Chaplin stars as the Tramp, who unexpectedly becomes a father figure to a young orphan, played by Jackie Coogan. Blending slapstick humour with touching drama, this landmark film explores poverty, love, and resilience in a way that still resonates over a century later.. Tickets are £8 and must be pre-booked.
Book online at the club page or reserve tickets from the museum by either calling into the museum or phoning 01424 222058.
