Buster Keaton returns in The Navigator

Buster Keaton returns to Bexhill Film Club in The Navigator, his 1924 silent comedy hit, screening at Bexhill Museum on Wednesday 6 May 2026 at 7pm. Keaton stars as wealthy but hapless Rollo Treadway, who finds himself adrift at sea after boarding the wrong ship.

With Betsy unexpectedly joining him, the pair must survive life aboard a drifting vessel, face dangers ashore and attempt repairs. The screening continues the museum’s popular silent film series with live piano accompaniment by Mike Hatchard, whose performance helps restore the charm and excitement of early cinema.
