Today would be the 151st birthday of Nora Griffith: Egyptologist, archaeologist, illustrator, conservator – and second wife of Frances Llewellyn Griffith. After his death, she founded and endowed the Griffith Institute at Oxford. We also owe our existence to her generosity!
