Please join us for a seasonal offering of popular melodies and traditional carols performed by the Jac’s Community Singers and featuring the museum’s 120-year-old piano.
The Jac’s Community Singers are a friendly community choir meeting, covering a range of types of music. The museum’s 120 year old Erard baby grand piano was original the pride of local impresario Jimmy Glover. Jimmy was the musical director of the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and manager of the Kursaal in Bexhill, once the town’s central performance hall until the opening of the De la Warr Pavilion in 1935.
Tuesday, 10 December, 7pm in the Sargent Gallery at the museum, Mulled wine (alcohol) and light refreshments included. Tickets are £10, available from the museum. Pre-booking essential. Phone for details.
