InSight to Culture: For the Visually Impaired

A second session from our InSight to Culture programme of events for people with visual impairments. The events run until October 2022 and feature five object handling sessions and a creative workshop, all are held at Bexhill Museum.

Thanks to the kind support of local charity Homecall, Bexhill Museum is able to offer places for free – though numbers are limited, and must be booked in advance. Please call our front desk for information – 01424 222058.

Homecall is a home visiting scheme for the visually impaired in Bexhill. Homecall was established in February 1985 to recruit, select and train volunteers (visitors) for a home visiting scheme that would help the substantially visually impaired maintain their independence, whilst relieving their social isolation. Homecall is a registered charity (no.294901) and provides a free service funded entirely by grants, legacies, donations and ongoing fundraising events.
