Bexhill Museum, Egerton Road, Bexhill, TN40 2BE

Following on from our successful InSight to Culture project, we have programmed another six events for people with visual impairments. The events feature five object handling sessions and a creative workshop and all are held at Bexhill Museum.

Thanks to the kind support of local charity Homecall, Bexhill Museum is able to offer places for free – though numbers are limited, and must be booked in advance. Please call our front desk for information – 01424 222058.

Homecall is a home visiting scheme for the visually impaired in Bexhill. Homecall was established in February 1985 to recruit, select and train volunteers (visitors) for a home visiting scheme that would help the substantially visually impaired maintain their independence, whilst relieving their social isolation. Homecall is a registered charity (no.294901) and provides a free service funded entirely by grants, legacies, donations and ongoing fundraising events.
