First Thursday Coffee Mornings

Our First Thursday monthly coffee mornings restart in September 2021. All are invited to join the friendly conversation. The first will be at 10.30 am on Thursday 2nd September and will include the old favourites; Books, Bric-a-Brac sale, a raffle and a welcome smile from our dedicated team!

Further coffee morning dates for your diaries: 7th October, 4th November & 2nd December. Please check the website and our social media pages for events.

Admission is free but donations are welcome (access to the rest of the museum is chargeable).

Inside St Peter’s Church Heysham which dates back to the 8th Century, was this amazing hog-back stone, which would have covered a Viking grave. I’ve only ever seen them in books, so I am still in awe and will dream about it all night.

Exciting news about tomorrow night! At 9pm, on Yesterday TV channel, our model railway will be featured in the series Hornby - A Model World. The model is the brainchild of actor and comedian Eddie Izzard, who is our patron. It depicts #Bexhill in December 1940.
