SUMMARY:Stepping Out to Collington's Forgotten Schools
DESCRIPTION:In this gentle ramble led by Heather Morrey and Penny Murray we will visit the sites of nine schools\, though of these only four have buildings for us to see\, but the observant will spot clues to their past roles.  \nThe independ­ent schools of Bexhill\, around 200 over the decades\, contributed hugely to the prosperity of the town whether it be shops\, hotels\, laundries\, dairies\, trades of all sorts \, domestic work- the list goes on.  \nWe’ll also hear about some of the pupils who went on to be famous and some stories from past pupils about their experiences. \nMeet at the entrance to the North side of Collington Station off Terminus Avenue. \nPlease pre-book at info@bexhillmuseum.org.uk\, call in to the museum or call 01424 222058 to save a place\,
