Bexhill Museum stalwart David Hatherell traces the life of  Spike Milligan – musician, soldier, actor, playwright, poet and above all, acclaimed comedian and Goon Show co-founder.

From a childhood in India, to adapting to a cold damp London, then a burgeoning career in music interrupted by war service (and a stint in Bexhill), David examines the life that made the man, including his struggles with his own mental health.
